What do you believe?

Do not believe what you have heard.

Do not believe in tradition because it is handed down many generations.

Do not believe in anything that has been spoken of many times.

Do not believe because the written statements come from some old sage.

Do not believe in conjecture.

Do not believe in authority or teachers or elders.

BUT ... after careful observation and analysis, when it agrees with reason and it will benefit one and all, then accept it and live by it.

- Buddha

So often we get caught up in doing things based on our interpretation of ... the way we think others would do them ... the way others have told us to do them ... the way things have always been done ... from what we've read in books ... or heard in the media or in courses we've done ...

Even when in our hearts we feel it's not the right way to be doing whatever it is for us.

Judith Orloff, M.D., an assistant clinical professor of psychiatry at the University of California, Los Angeles, and author of the book Positive Energy says your intuition ... 'tells you the truth about how you can help yourself ... that your conscious mind could never tell you ... In the beginning,
with intuition (like with most things though) sometimes you're right and sometimes you're wrong.'

That's just the way it is though with most things we do
isn't it now, practice is the key.

With practice, you naturally gain greater skills with pretty well everything. Intuition is the same ... the more you listen to your inner voice the better sense you'll get of when to listen to it.

Our intuition can serve us well ... if we choose to develop it ... now or later. It serves us in our relationships, at home, in the work place and making career, business or investment decisions.

The next time you get that inner feeling that something needs to be done differently, or now, or whatever the case is ... take a bit of time, reflect, think of the possibilities and maybe choose to follow your own unique path ... so long as it's safe for you, safe for the people around you and the world you live in ... go on ... take a risk ... make your own path!

Love life and live it creatively and on purpose!
