Warning! Your Attitude Is Reflected In The Mirror Of Life

Maybe this has happened to you: Take two identical days, just ordinary routine days, nothing special happening …

Day 1
You wake up after a bad night’s sleep, you’re not feeling great, it’s grey and cloudy, everything you hear just sounds discordant and ugly. You’ve got a negative attitude and going through your day things just go downhill from there …

Getting to work is a nightmare, you spend your entire day in seemingly endless and repetitive tasks and by the end of the day you’re just happy to collapse into bed feeling exhausted.

Day 2
You wake up in the morning feeling great ... it’s a beautiful sunny day, you can hear your favourite sounds, you’ve got a great mental attitude, positive that everything is going to be easy:-)

Your journey to work is easy, you fly through your work and to cap it all, you have a fantastic evening at home. In short you have a great day!

So what's the difference between these two days? ... There’s just one difference YOU!!

The Mirror Of Life
Life is like a mirror. On one side there is your mental state, your attitude, positive or neg
ative, your feelings ...

On the other side there's the reflection of your mental state: your external world and the results you're achieving in that world.

That’s right. Your world is reflection of your mental state.

… But how does this happen, how can your internal world create your external world?

Think about it for a minute

First your mental state influences your behaviour and your actions ... when you've got a good attitude, positive actions are easy to take, when you have a negative attitude, everything seems too difficult!

Your behaviour and actions
influence the people around you and the results you get in life ... if you're always negative and pessimistic you're going to find that most of the people you attract into your life are like you.

If a negative attitude means that you don’t ‘get things done’ you're not going to create the life you really want.

The results you get and the people you associate with influence what you perceive in y
our world …

… and your perceptions influence your mental state, completing the circle.
The only things you can control are how you perceive the world and your mental state. For example you can choose to see the negative or the positive in a situation by changing your state of mind.

Experience The Mirror In Action

You can experience the power of the mirror of life at any time. Here’s a couple of examples to think about:

Start by thinking about people around you … You can tell a lot about a person’s inner world by looking at their outer world. Of course people may try to hide their mental state, but there are always clues … look at their facial expression, their body posture, their behaviour …

Make a Conscious Effort
One day in your normal routine, consciously adopt an extremely positive attitude, make a point of smiling and greeting people positively when you might normally be neutral or even grumpy! Just see what difference it makes.

You'll see that people’s responses to you become more positive and friendly. Even better, if you keep it up you'll find that you're living in a different, more positive and more supportive world.

Remember: you can change your world by changing your mental state. If you want better results, you’ve first got to create a better you!

Love life and live it creatively and on purpose!

Your Subconscious Mind – The Key To Your Successful Life

The Subconscious mind is the most powerful tool a person could use. It functions like a huge secret memory and doesn't formulate any arguments.

It's completely objective and it can’t express any point of view. The neutrality of subconscious mind is the core of every action and reaction our thoughts activate.

Henry Ford was so right when he said, 'If you think you can’t do it or you think you can, you're right.'

Unfortunately, all of us have been programmed by our interpretation of the events of our lives which often led many of us to a lot of unjustified limitations.

The World We Live in

We live in a world full of negativity and it's become daily routine, just read a newspaper or watch TV and our subconscious mind absorbs the tragedies we see.

Strange as it may seem, the world is not only destruction and misery, but it also consists of individuals who achieve extraordinary things starting with nothing. The Media don’t consider these cases “saleable” but that’s another story.

Choose a Happy World
You can choose to reprogram your subconscious mind in order to achieve better results and improve your life in every aspect, Business, Personal, Health etc. The first step to reprogram your subconscious mind is to focus for 30 minutes on the things that are going right in your life, the things you're grateful for.

The first 15 minutes when you get up in the morning and the last 15 minutes before you go to sleep. It’s very critical the first and the last daily thoughts you choose to focus on allow you to feel great, especially before you go to sleep.

Ask Your Subconscious to Help

That time is the best time of the day to meditate and focus on your positive messages. The mind in that condition is more receptive to messages because you're in your that 'relaxed' state as you're coming out of and going into sleep.

When you've got a serious problem to solve and / or you're troubled, focus on your breathing, allow yourself to relax and ask your subconscious to sort for the answer while you sleep peacefully. Generally speaking the answers come along because they already exist in your subconscious mind.

Successful People Use The Power of Their Subconscious
Many scientists have used their subconscious mind to resolve scientific problems. As have successful writers like Marc Twain. Olympic Athletes imagine they win the race many times and do continuous meditation before they start racing.

There's an important note here. You CAN NOT fool your subconscious mind. What ever messages you want to develop have to be real. You need to 'FEEL' the feelings of the message you want to send to your subconscious mind in order to create it.

Remember, change can happen in an instance ... or it can happen in a moment. The subconscious mind has no mind of it's own, it simply holds true whatever you decide is true for you ... the choice is yours.

Love life and live it creatively and on purpose!

A Matter of Inspiration

Legend has it that Robert the Bruce of Scotland was losing the battle and he barely escaped with his life. His soldiers were hard pressed to keep up the fight as many were wounded and dying. The Bruce, tired, dismayed and broken-hearted found a hidden cave where he took refuge.

He threw down his sword and sat to rest a while. Gloomy thoughts filled his mind and he reflected on the insurmountability of the task he had tried to accomplish. Perhaps Scotland would never be free ... at least not in his lifetime. Perhaps he should abandon all efforts, give it up and lead an obscure life as a fugitive.

As these thoughts raced through his mind, out of the corner of his eye, he noticed a tiny spider trying to climb a strand of web that extended from the top of the cave almost to the floor. Up went the spider and just a few feet from the top, it slipped and fell all the way down.

Over and over again the spider repeated the process as the exhausted Bruce watched, fascinated by the perseverance of the little life form. Once again the spider climbed, this time almost reaching the top. Again it slipped and fell to the floor of the cave.

Now with rapt attention, Robert the Bruce watched to see its next move. A few more tries and finally, with one quick dash, the spider reached the ceiling. The Bruce slowly got up, picked up his sword, cleared the depressing thoughts from his mind and went back into the battle, inspired by the strength, will and perseverance of such a tiny creature as a spider.

The rest is history. The battle was won and the Bruce was, once more, the triumphant, gallant leader of his people.

There are times when everything in life seems dark and dreary. There are those times when we feel we're totally unable to take the next step or to even move one inch. These are precisely the times when we most need inspiration.

Why inspiration? It helps recharge our energy when all seems hopeless. It gives us encouragement when our "spiritual well has gone dry".

The dictionary gives different meanings to the word, "inspiration". But I think "inspiration" actually means divine messages from the Universe. In our lives there are many sources of inspiration. someof the ones I find most ... inspiring are:

Nature
In the middle of the worst crisis, a little walk in the park or on the beach does wonders for the body, mind and spirit. Breathe in the fresh air, watch the ripples on a pond or even in a fountain;
take a few minutes to clear your mind by looking up to the sky or the stars. Get inspired by the sheer magnificence of Nature.

Music
Listen to some music you really like. Whether it be the vibrant, upbeat sort that your body simply moves to almost inspite of itself or the soft, melodic sounds that take your mind to another place. Either way you'll find that miracles can occur.

Books and tapes
Spend some time absorbed in a good book. And I don't mean just self-help or spiritual books. It could be any book that engages your mind and thoughts. When things seem really gloomy to me, I likeot read stories about magic, there's a part of me that knows it's only a story but it feeds that belief in miracles. For me, that works. For you, it might mean a totally different type of book.

And audio tapes, CD's, video tapes and DVD's have been a wonderful gift from technology. There are so many wonderful movies out there, the one I loved most recently was Sandra Bullock's 'The Blind Side' was fabulous, Richard Bach's 'Jonathan Livingston Seagull' on my video player. Recharge yourself in fanatasy land and come out to face the seeming impossible and smiling.

Friends
We're fortunate indeed, if we've got a few good friends. Connect with the people around you. Real friends are such a bonus in life; whether if be sharing a laugh or handing out the tissues.

These are a few of the simple things in life that help to lift us when things around us aren't the way you want them to be.

There's stack of things you can do to give yourself inspiration to move forward and I'm sure you can come up with a list that works for you.Things like taking a drive, going fishing, paint a picture or making something.

So what is it that does it for you? What do you do to give yourself that lift when life has lost it's bounce?

Remember, the Universe is on your side. Just give it a chance to show its magnificence in your life. Lift up your eyes and look to the horizon ... Perhaps you'll see a whole new, beautiful day dawning for you. It's there. Go for it.

Love life and live it creatively and on purpose!

Your Thoughts and The Law of Attraction

We've all heard the expression, 'If at first you don't succeed, try, try again.' But to carry on without thinking about why you failed only leads to more failure. And this is totally different to wallowing in the failure.

The ability to create is a God given gift

A gift given to everyone without exception. Thought is the first step to manifesting any creation.

Thoughts are energy, they're real. Your thoughts act as magnets and attract other thoughts, people, and circumstances that harmonize with them.

Thoughts operate and adhere to certain universal laws. Without these laws there'd be no order; the universe itself would sink into chaos.

The Law of Attraction states that like attracts like

Much of what was once considered metaphysical, esoteric knowledge in the past is now scientific fact.

Physics and Quantum Physics in particular has shown us that the principles involved in the Law of Attraction are every bit as valid as those governing the Law of Gravity. So it should come as no surprise to you, that dwelling only on your problems simply attracts more problems.

The idea of attracting success by thinking about it is very appealing
So appealing in fact, people often get the wrong impression that it's easy. Affirmations can be helpful, but mindless affirmations alone have no real value.

On the other hand, once an affirmation becomes part of your belief system the subconscious goes to work attracting opportunities. It's not the success itself we attract, but the opportunity to succeed.

Our world is ruled by cause and effect

Yet we often fail to see how this rule applies to the thoughts we think. This happens because the results of our thoughts are so far removed from the cause that we fail to see the connection.
The subconscious mind is working tirelessly 24 hours a day. It doesn't analyze, it doesn't judge, it simply accepts and attracts more of what the conscious mind is focused on.

Are you attracting problems or solutions?
By focusing on desire and showing gratitude for what you already have, the subconscious mind is given the necessary material to provide a constant stream of opportunities. Whether we take advantage of these opportunities or not is another story.

It's impossible to operate outside the law of attraction

Consciously or unconsciously your thoughts, feelings, and emotions, determine if this law works for or against you.

Stay focused on your success and reaching your goals. As one success leads to another, success becomes a habit.

Problems and obstacles are seen as no more than stepping stones on the road to your ultimate goal and what's more you'll get to that place where you can become genuinely excited by the obstacles because that means you're getting closer to your goals!!!

Love life and live it creatively and on purpose!

Your Worst Habits Just Need To Be Reprogrammed!

Do you realize ... YOU have the power to train your mind to choose what you think. That's right YOU! You have that power as a person, as a human ... YOU don't have to allow random thoughts to hold you hostage ... you have the power of choice.

And just how do you do that you might well ask?
You do that by becoming inner-directed and focused, so that you decide what you want to think, rather than have your thoughts and emotions determined by the world around you.

The untrained mind has more emotional ups and downs like a proverbial roller coaster because it's reacting to random thoughts. Focus on what you REALLY want
with joy and enthusiasm.

Remember, just like the Earth, your brain doesn't discern what you plant. It'll work just as hard to grow weeds as it will to grow beautiful flowers. In your mind, You determine the seeds that are planted by what you say to yourself over and over again.

Quite simply, you're a self-fulfilling prophec
y because your subconscious mind doesn't know the difference between factual reality and imagined reality.

If you focus on what you say you don’t want, then you'll create that as The Dominate request in your experience.

If you think you're destined to be overweight, below average, poor, unlucky in love, clumsy, or even 'not good at something,' you'll take actions that make these thoughts become reality.

So, the trick is to keep focused on what you REALLY want
Define yourself as the person you choose to be. (Example: I am a perfect weight for my body and lifestyle.)

If you're still looking to let weight go, you may want to say something like: I am allowing my body to obtain its perfect balance for health and vitality.

Understand the power of I AM
Many of your beliefs about yourself have no foundation in truth, so instead of promoting your purpose, they hold you back from success.
If keep saying to yourself ... I AM ... overweight, below average, poor, unlucky in love, clumsy, or even 'not good at something,' you'll continue to take actions that make those Dominant Requests become reality.

None of these thoughts are actually true, but thinking them creates beliefs and images in your mind that reinforce these negative statements until they actually become true for you.
Be aware of the directions you give your brain
Your internal dialogue, along with what you believe about situations, is how you create your emotions.

Negative self-talk messages will cause you to give up before you even try something new. Always be aware that your words can make ominous predictions.

If you say about your habit, 'I’ll never be able to stop this; I’ve been doing it so long.'
You're programming yourself to believe that you are too weak and powerless to overcome the habit.

These negative permissions clutter up your ability to change your behaviors. Pay attention to yourself when you hear yourself uttering negative permissions and negative reinforcements.

Avoid negative self-talk
'I can’t do this. I don’t understand. I’ll look stupid. I’m too old to learn new skills. They make me feel stupid. That’s just the way I am. There’s nothing I can do. No one in my family can do it, so I know I can't.'

Change your self-talk
Reframe the negative things you say about yourself and your life to positive statements which reinforce the creation of new behaviors (habits). A positive outlook creates more options for creative solutions.

Remember: Focus on what you want. Keep it simple and sure.

Love life and live it creatively and on purpose!
